About Word Search HQ

Word Search HQ is an independent project built and maintained by a solo developer. It started from a simple frustration: most word search solver tools either make you install an app, upload your puzzle to a server, or bury the actual tool under pop-ups. This site does none of that.

What you can do here

Use the word search solver to find every hidden word from a photo or a typed grid, and play or print free themed word search puzzles with answer keys.

Built privacy-first

Everything runs in your browser. When you import a puzzle photo, image recognition happens on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or shared.

How the site is funded

The tools and puzzles are free to use. To keep the site online and growing, it is supported by advertising. You can read how cookies and ads work in the privacy policy.
